The Aqua Lung Helix Pro is a balanced-diaphragm regulator positioned between entry-level and technical models. The sealed first stage keeps water and particulates out of the internal mechanism, which supports cold-water diving and reduces contamination in silty or sandy conditions. Yoke and DIN versions cover 3,300 psi (232 bar) and 4,350 psi (300 bar) cylinders respectively.
Port layout is a practical strength of this first stage: four medium-pressure ports arranged in a T orientation route hoses cleanly to the second stage, octopus, inflator, and drysuit without crowding, alongside two high-pressure ports. The pneumatically balanced second stage uses heat exchangers to move ambient warmth into the gas path and resist icing, an in-line venturi knob sized for gloved hands, and a Comfo-Bite mouthpiece. The regulator ships EAN 40 compatible.
