The Aqua Lung Leg3nd Octopus is the alternate air source matched to the Leg3nd regulator. It uses the same second-stage architecture as the primary, so the breathing characteristics of a donated regulator match what the diver is used to rather than dropping to a lower standard in an out-of-air situation.
The high-visibility yellow cover and hose make the octopus easy to locate underwater. A venturi control limits free flow while the regulator hangs unused, and the Comfo-Bite mouthpiece stays seated without jaw effort.
