The Browning Trapper has stainless clip and spey blades in a green jigged bone handle with nickel silver bolsters and an inlay shield, closing to 4.13 inches.
Browning putting out a traditional trapper is worth noting, since the brand is better known for modern hunting folders and fixed blades than for slip joints. The clip blade takes general cutting while the spey’s flat edge and rounded tip handle skinning and scraping without a point to puncture.
Green jigged bone is dyed natural material, and the dye settles unevenly into the jigging so the grooves read darker than the raised surface between them. At 4.13 inches closed this is the full-size trapper rather than the medium, which puts it on a belt or in a coat pocket. Explore more Trapper Knives.
