The CJRB Nova has a 3.5-inch satin AR-RPM9 stainless tanto blade, a light blue G10 handle, a thumb stud and a pocket clip, closing to 4.5 inches.
Light blue on a tanto is a deliberate mismatch. The shape belongs to a category that runs black and gray, and a pale handle takes the aggression out of it without changing what the blade does. The tanto puts a reinforced corner where a curved belly would run, concentrating force at the front for piercing at the cost of a sweeping slice.
AR-RPM9 is Artisan’s powder steel, pressed from steel powder rather than cast, which gives a finer and more even grain that sharpens predictably. G10 takes color through the material rather than on the surface, so a pale shade like this cannot chip or fade. Explore more Tactical Linerlocks.
