The jacket uses supersoft flotation panels that stay flexible. It is a wearable USCG Type III flotation device. Its 3D articulated sleeves, reinforced elbows and cuffs, and bomber length allow more movement than a full-length coat.
A thermo-lined hood stows in the collar, and the collar itself is fleece lined. A waterproof internal barrier keeps wind and spray out, and hand warmer pockets keep your hands warm on watch.
