The Fox Monkey Thumper has a 3.5-inch stonewashed Niolox tool steel blade over a full extended tang at 8.5 inches overall, a green canvas micarta handle and a finger ring.
Niolox is a German tool steel with niobium added, which forms very hard fine carbides that raise wear resistance while keeping the steel tough and reasonably corrosion resistant. It is uncommon outside European makers. The finger ring at the butt means the knife cannot be pulled or twisted out of the hand, and it lets the blade be held in a reverse grip without slipping.
Canvas micarta grips harder as hands get damp and wears in to a smoother surface over years. The extended tang runs to the butt, so the pommel can take a strike without loading the handle scales. Explore more Tactical Fixed Blade Knives.
