Index S2 is the scale half of the Garmin ecosystem: it measures on the bathroom floor and the numbers appear in Garmin Connect alongside your training, without an app to open or a reading to type in.
Beyond weight it reports body fat percentage, skeletal muscle mass, bone mass, body water percentage and BMI, and it holds up to 16 user profiles so a household or a team each track their own numbers into their own Garmin Connect account. The color display shows a 30-day weight trend and a weather widget when you step on, which is a small thing that makes the morning reading less of a single-number verdict.
It runs on four AAA batteries rather than a rechargeable pack, connects over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and ships with carpet feet for bathrooms that are not tiled. Available in black or white.
