Jugs Sting-Free Dimple Ball Baseball – Dozen
The dimpled Sting-Free baseball is the machine ball of the Jugs line. It is the same size and weight as a leather baseball, so it holds the wheel pressure and the release point your machine is already set for, and the dimpled cover is what gives it accuracy and repeatable performance pitch after pitch. It comes twelve to the box in White or Optic Yellow.
What a coach notices first is the compound. The ball feels like leather off the barrel, it will not dent aluminum bats, and it will not sting a hitter’s hands through a long round of batting practice. Machines that take it include the Jugs MVP Combo Pitching Machine, which throws Sting-Free dimpled and seamed balls in both baseball and softball. For work off a live arm as well as out of a machine, the seamed Sting-Free Practice Baseball is the same compound with a realistic raised seam.
