The Lopolight FB Base combined sidelight integrates both side-navigation functions into one low-profile horizontal fixture. It provides 1 nautical mile of visibility and is specified for vessels under 12 m. The FB base centers the wiring beneath the light, which is useful for installations built around an antenna-style pole or a clean deck-mounted arrangement.
The FB base can be screwed down from above or secured from below, giving the installer two mounting approaches. Its reduced-profile shape keeps the fixture close to the mounting surface while maintaining the required combined-light function. A 2.5 m cable is attached for routing from the fixture into the vessel.
The housing uses silver-anodized aluminum with a PMMA lens, A4 stainless steel screws, epoxy, and polyurethane in the assembly. The fixture measures approximately 92.5 mm in diameter by 58 mm high and operates from -25°C to 55°C. Approvals include COLREG72, EN14744, IEC 60945, IACS E10, USCG, ABS, M.E.D., DNV, and LR.
