The Magpul MOE Bipod for Sling Stud in black is a lightweight polymer bipod that mounts to an Uncle Mike’s style sling swivel stud. At about 8 ounces, it is almost 40 percent lighter than Magpul’s aluminum bipods. The legs are injection-molded polymer that will not bend or deform.
Self-locating stainless clasps and a large thumbwheel make it quick to put on and take off. The legs deploy without buttons or levers, locking down and extending from about 7 to 10 inches in half-inch steps. There is no pan or tilt, which keeps the design simple and light.
Folded, it sits just 1.73 inches tall under the forend. Removable rubber feet use a hole pattern that fits many aftermarket feet, and a stud at the rear lets you keep a sling attached.
