The Maretron TMP100 measures up to 6 temperature probes and reports them over NMEA 2000. It supports 4 thermistor probes and 2 high-temperature thermocouple probes. Probes are sold separately.
Thermistor probes cover -20 to 80 degrees C (-4 to 176 degrees F) for cabin and engine room air, refrigerators and freezers, livewells, hot water tanks and air ducts. They also work for under-bolt readings on inverters, chargers, pumps and motors. That catches overheating equipment early.
Thermocouple probes read from 0 to 900 degrees C (32 to 1652 degrees F) for exhaust gas temperature as part of fuel management. One module covers a wide range of monitoring needs. Check the available mounting space and surrounding hardware before installation so a correct part number does not turn into a clearance problem. Browse more marine networking.
