The OMS IQ Lite Harness is an ultra-light backpack harness that serves as the foundation of a modular wing-and-harness dive system, offering an alternative to a traditional heavy backplate. At approximately 2.4 lbs (1.1 kg), it packs down small enough to carry in hand luggage, making it well suited to travel diving while retaining the adjustability and load-bearing capability expected of a technical harness.
Anodized aluminum hardware is used throughout to maximize strength while keeping weight to a minimum, and padded shoulder straps with a soft backpad add comfort under a loaded rig. Aluminum D-rings provide attachment points for accessories and stage bottles, and a crotch strap helps hold the harness in position during a dive. Following the OMS modular design philosophy, the harness pairs with the diver’s choice of wing and can be reconfigured from warm-water travel diving to cold-water use by fitting a wing with the appropriate lift, or adapted for single tank or doubles setups. Finished in black and available in XS, S, M/L, and XL.
