The Rapala Sarda 22 Silver Blue Mackerel Trolling Lure is a 7 in, 7 oz saltwater lure built around a one-piece stainless steel body with a reinforced internal rib. The rigid construction is designed to handle aggressive offshore species, while its fast, stable swimming action remains effective at trolling speeds up to 14 knots. Heavy-duty terminal hardware reduces the need to replace stock components before putting the lure into a demanding offshore setup.
The lure is rigged with two forged VMC 7286 TechSet hooks and uses split rings together with welded rings to reduce the leverage a hooked fish can apply to the hardware. Its variable running depth and Silver Blue Mackerel finish make it a multi-species trolling option for covering water at a range of speeds and presentation depths. This model is best suited to anglers who want a durable trolling lure that can stay stable across a broad working speed range.
For offshore trolling, lure size, running behavior, hook hardware, and target speed all matter when building a spread. A rigid, reinforced lure body is especially useful when the presentation is intended for larger saltwater fish and repeated use at higher trolling speeds. Browse more Fishing Accessories.
