The Rite Edge Six Function Camp Tool is an all-stainless folding tool closing to 4.25 inches, with detachable handles.
Detachable handles are the unusual part. The two scales come off, which turns the tool into a flat set of implements that packs smaller and cleans more thoroughly than a fixed multitool. It also means a handle can be replaced rather than scrapping the tool if one cracks.
Six functions cover a camp meal end to end: a knife blade, a fork and spoon for eating, a corkscrew and bottle opener for drinks, and a reamer for punching holes. All-stainless construction with no synthetic scales means nothing to swell, crack or absorb food odors, and a keyring lets it hang rather than sit loose in a pack.
