The Ronstan Pro Splicing Kit has the tools for splicing rope, from double braid to Dyneema. It comes in a Ronstan splicing bag. It’s useful for making halyards, dock lines and outrigger rigging.
It includes a five-fid set (4, 5.5, 7.5, 10 and 13 mm), a small Swedish fid and a five-piece needle set. F15 and F25 pullers cover 2 to 4 mm and 6 to 8 mm line. 8 inch scissors cut Kevlar and Dyneema.
Splicing tape, whipping twine, Dyneema whipping twine and a right-hand medium leather palm complete the kit. Splicing your own lines saves money and gives a stronger finish than knots.
