The Shakespeare 4357-S is a base-loaded AM/FM/VHF marine band separator that lets a single VHF antenna also feed a boat’s AM/FM stereo, removing the need to run and mount a second antenna just for the radio.
It separates the frequencies cleanly enough that AM/FM and VHF can operate at the same time without one interfering with the other, so calling out on the VHF doesn’t mean losing the stereo or vice versa.
The kit comes complete with a 10-foot RG-62 AM/FM cable, a 3-foot RG-58 VHF cable, and the connector already installed, and it works with all types of marine VHF antennas rather than being limited to a specific model. See what else we carry in communication accessories.
