It broadcasts SOG, COG, heading and hazard reports to give nearby vessels a clear picture of your movements. Integrated Wi-Fi feeds tablets and laptops, and a Bluetooth app handles setup and troubleshooting. An AIS control app adds Waze-style hazard reporting and built-in VDR capability.
It’s IP67 waterproof, dustproof and vibration-proof with low power draw, and an external GPS antenna is included. In the US, a Class B transceiver must be programmed with your MMSI number by a qualified technician before use.
