The Streamlight PolyTac 1X USB is a multi-fuel flashlight in matte yellow giving 500 lumens and 18,000 candela, with an SL-B9 rechargeable battery pack.
Yellow is the high-visibility option, and on a work light that is a practical choice rather than a cosmetic one. A yellow light set down in a plant room, a bilge or a vehicle footwell is found immediately. It also marks the light as shared equipment rather than personal, which matters in a workshop where tools migrate.
Multi-fuel operation runs the SL-B9 rechargeable pack, a CR123A primary or a CR123 rechargeable, so the light works on whatever is to hand. The polymer body is non-conductive, so these are chosen for electrical work over an aluminum light. Explore more handheld flashlights.
