The Streamlight TLR-3 is a compact black weapon light designed for compact and subcompact handguns while also fitting many full-size railed pistols. Its white LED produces 170 lumens and 3,300 candela with a 115 m beam, and one CR2 lithium battery provides up to 1.5 hours of continuous runtime. A weapon light in this output class is intended to combine target-area illumination with quick access to controls from the mounted position.
The impact-resistant polymer body keeps weight down, while the included key kit supports installation across several rail patterns. An ambidextrous switch provides momentary or steady operation, and the IPX7-rated housing is waterproof to 1 m for 30 minutes. The mounted configuration is useful when the support hand needs to remain on the equipment while the light is activated or adjusted.
The Streamlight TLR-3 170 Lumen Black Weapon Light should be matched to the intended rail and control preference before purchase so the complete setup works as expected. The finish on this version also gives buyers a way to coordinate the light with the rest of the host equipment without changing the basic operating platform. Battery type and runtime are worth considering alongside maximum output because they determine how the light fits the user’s maintenance routine. Browse more weapon lights.
