The SureFire CSM-09 compact switch is a black remote-control component with a 9 in cable and an M-LOK mounting interface. The matte finish keeps the hardware subdued on a compatible handguard. This model is intended to move the light control away from the body of the light and place it where the support hand can reach it.
The 9 in lead gives the installer room to route the switch between the light and the chosen M-LOK position without using a very short direct connection. Because the mount is specified as M-LOK, rail type should be confirmed before ordering. The compact switch format also keeps the control surface separate from the light itself, which can make placement more flexible on a crowded handguard.
This is not a complete weapon light; it is a control component for a compatible lighting setup. Confirm both the light interface and the available M-LOK mounting space before treating it as a replacement for an existing switch. For other lighting or maintenance items related to the 9 in Black M-LOK, see hunting lights.
