The SureFire Z68 rear cap in tan is a protective cap assembly for compatible Scout Light weapon lights. It gives the rear of the light a tan finish while retaining the standard cap-style configuration. The product is a replacement or configuration part and does not include the complete light body.
This version should be selected by both compatibility and color. The Scout Light fit is the functional requirement, while the tan finish distinguishes it from the black Z68 listed alongside it. Because the Z68 is a cap assembly rather than a remote pressure switch, buyers should make sure that this control style matches the way they intend to operate the light.
The tan model is useful for matching tan or mixed-finish lighting setups without changing the rest of the light. Verify the Scout Light model before purchase so the finish choice does not overshadow the fit requirement.
