The Uniden BCT15X Analog Trunking Base and Mobile Scanner is an analog scanner with 9,000 channels and an Advanced Dynamic Memory System. It covers NOAA weather, aviation, marine, railroad, NASCAR and non-digital police, fire and ambulance bands. It works on a desk at home or mounted in a vehicle.
TrunkTracker III follows Motorola, EDACS and LTR trunked systems. Fire Tone-Out Alert can watch for up to 32 two-tone sequential pages, which helps volunteer firefighters. Close Call RF Capture finds nearby transmissions, and Do-Not-Disturb keeps it from interrupting an active channel.
Location-based scanning automatically selects programmed systems when you connect a compatible GPS receiver. This is not a digital scanner and will not receive digital radio systems, so check your local systems before buying. The box includes an AC power adapter and a 12V adapter. Digital scanners are in our marine scanners section.
