The Aqua Lung Leg3nd is an over-balanced diaphragm regulator. As depth increases, the first stage raises intermediate pressure faster than ambient pressure rises, so the second stage keeps delivering full flow at depth rather than tapering off. The sealed first stage keeps water and contaminants out of the mechanism for cold-water and low-visibility use.
The second stage is pneumatically balanced with a venturi control and an adjustable inhalation knob, and the Comfo-Bite mouthpiece holds position without jaw clenching. Auto Closure Device compatibility protects the second stage from water and debris when it is off the cylinder.
