A 13-inch flexible long-range VHF antenna for Garmin Alpha and Astro handhelds working with the DC 40 transmitter collar. It raises the stated tracking range to up to 9 miles.
Fit it when you are hunting open ground and want every mile the radio link can give you; keep the standard antenna for close, brushy work where a long whip is more of a liability than an asset.
