This package pairs the Shearwater Petrel 3 dive computer with everything needed to get it in the water and keep it protected. The Petrel 3 uses a 2.6″ AMOLED display protected by a toughened aluminosilicate glass lens and titanium bezel, in a housing rated to 290 m (950 ft), and it runs on a single user-replaceable AA battery for up to 60 hours per charge. It covers Air, Nitrox, 3 Gas Nitrox, OC Tec trimix, CC/BO fixed PPO2, and Gauge modes on the Buhlmann ZHL-16C algorithm with Gradient Factors, and you can pick the version that matches your setup: Stand-alone (SA), Fischer, or Monitor 4-Pin with either a 30″ or 18″ cable for rebreather PPO2 monitoring.
The Shearwater Swift transmitter handles the air-integration side, mounting tool-free on a regulator’s 7/16-20 UNF high-pressure port and sending tank pressure wirelessly to the Petrel 3, which supports up to four transmitters at once. The Swift runs on a user-replaceable CR2 battery rated for up to 300 dive hours, carries a 200 m depth rating, and uses an advanced collision avoidance system so its signal stays reliable even when nearby divers are running transmitters of their own.
Rounding out the package, the EVA travel case combines a ballistic nylon exterior with anti-shock EVA padding and a zippered closure to keep the computer safe between trips (it’s sized for the Petrel as well as the Teric, Perdix, Peregrine, and Tern), the die-cut screen protector kit is a peel-and-stick clear film sized for the Perdix and Petrel, and the strap kit adds a spare pair of marine-grade elastic straps with pinch clip buckles, available in black or orange, for a comfortable fit over a wetsuit or drysuit.
